A native of Belgium, Rein attended The Classic Humanities at the Cathedral School of St.Bavo in Ghent. She is a graduate of the Lycee Royal de Laeken, in Brussels, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She is multilingual. Rein spent 20 years as a Foreign Service spouse and has three children. She was a faculty member, teaching intermediate French, at Ohio University (Athens) and at the Foreign Service Institute (total immersion French) in Washington, D.C. After moving to the Middleburg area, in 1984, she became a wine broker for Virginia wineries. In 1993, Rein obtained her Realtor’s License. She has been an active real estate agent (REALTOR®) since and has won numerous awards. She is a past Member of the Dante Alighieri Society, the Goethe Institute, the Alliance Francaise, the Save Venice Committee and the Washington Sommelier Society. She is a member of the Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC), the Goose Creek Association, the Greater Piedmont Realtors (GPR), Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR), National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the Metropolitan Regional Information System (MRIS). She has obtained the Accredited Buyer Representative Designation (ABR®) and the E-PRO® Designation from the National Association of Realtors. Rein received the lifetime membership award in the million dollar sales club of the GPR for winning achievement awards for ten consecutive years. Rein’s favourite charities are: The Christian Children’s Fund (now called Child’s Fund), UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders and The PEC.
